When you try to get all properties of an ActiveDirectory Object using PowerShell you get an error.<\/p>\n

You would typically run some command like:<\/p>\n

Get-ADUser -Identity someone -Properties *<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 . This will return an unexpected\u00a0error.<\/p>\n

Get-ADUser : One or more properties are invalid.

The workaround is to pipe AD Object to GET-\u00a0ADObject like this:<\/p>\n

Get-ADUser – identity someone | Get-ADObject -Properties *<\/span><\/p>\n

This is probably a\u00a0 bug in Windows 2012R2 and Windows 8.1<\/p>\n
